Last year I purchased a dvr which stopped working a few months later. This was the first electronic product I had ever purchased an extended warranty on. I contacted Square Trade and followed their return procedures. They say that if they can't repair it within 5 days they refund your purchase price. They did just that, with absolutely NO hassle! I now purchase warranties for every product that they will cover, with no concerns about their promises. Their warranties are also much less than a regular store warranty. Plus they are always offering discounts on their already low cost.
